How Do I Become An Advocate?
We recommend you start by attending one of our monthly Informational Sessions to learn more and get your questions answered by our staff. Once you make the decision to apply, fill out an application and our staff will contact you to set up an interview.
What Is The Time Commitment As A Volunteer Advocate?
Advocates meet with their child 2 times per month and spend an average of 10 – 15 hours per month on their child’s case. Actual days and times are based on the child/family’s and volunteer’s schedule. You may have the opportunity to attend court hearings every 3-4 months. These are generally on Thursday or Friday mornings and you will be given ample notice of those dates.

Following the closure of a case, a volunteer may take up to 1 year of leave without going through the training class again.
Can I Be A CASA Volunteer Advocate If I Want To Adopt Or Foster A Child?
What Kind Of Donations Do You Accept For The Children/Families In The Program?
We accept a limited amount of toys, school supplies, baby items (diapers, wipes, etc.), and gift cards.
