20 Years of Advocacy: CASA’s Community Bash & Golden Ticket Raffle Recap
On June 6th, CASA of McHenry County welcomed friends, families, and supporters to The Dole for a celebration 20 years in the making. Our 20th Anniversary Community Bash was an afternoon filled with joy, reflection, and gratitude as we honored two decades of advocacy for children in foster care.
Guests enjoyed music by The Thompson Duo, delicious eats from Brothers BBQ and My Funnel Truck, and a festive atmosphere complete with games, raffles, crafts, and a community treat walk. Volunteers—past and present—were honored with stickers and stories as we celebrated the heart of CASA: our people.
Our Golden Ticket Raffle featured two incredible prizes: a pizza oven donated by LV Distributes and an outdoor grill donated by Mont Alpi Grills. Thanks to the generosity of our supporters, we raised $5,000 in donations through ticket sales—directly supporting CASA’s mission to provide every child in foster care with a dedicated Advocate.
